The day started with an outing to PetSmart with a dog named Billie (note "ie" means girl). She is a very sweet hound available for adoption at the Bangor Humane Society.
After getting the Pet Smart (showing what a great dog she was) out of the way, we took a few minutes to just hang out in the snow and act a bit goofy. She is a love and if you know of anybody looking for such a dog, send them to the Bangor Humane Society to check her out. FYI ~ she does not like cats:(
...and as you all know, I am addicted to the Bangor Dog Park!
This blog was intended to be no words, but this little black dog with the white chest deserves just a few words. When this dogs owner brings out the ball, his/her attention span is incredible ...and he/she always gets the ball ...and the other dogs love the challenge of distracting this dog and then trying to get to the ball first. Failure on both accounts!
...and a few last words ~ If your not the lead dog, the scenery never changes!
Due to a snowy day the Dog Park was fairly quiet. This is Lola's last week at wearing her cast, so we let her tag along with us knowing she would most likely be just hitting up the two legged folks for a few pats.
After hearing about my love for photographing dogs, a friend of mine invited me to a sled dog race. As you can tell by the following photos, I truly enjoyed myself!
