While visiting the Rockland area, I decided to walk the breakwater one early morning and .....couldn't resist taking photos of this little dog and his owner.

On the way home, I decided to stop at the Belfast Dog Park ....and take photos of dogs at play from this area of the state.  

 ...and what dog can't resist getting a scratch behind the ear!

 As you know, I am madly in love with rescue dogs ...and this dog was rescued from what sounds like a not so good situation.  It always amazes me what a bit of TLC can do for a dog.  

 This guy was being very vocal at the end of my visit.  FYI ~ He did not want his photo taken!

Another incredible day at the Dog Park meeting old furry friends and new.

Some dogs don't mind being on the bottom ...and Bella is one of those dogs.

There are days that a dog just wants to stand by his owner and watch ...and that is perfectly ok. 

 Lola and Lola's favorite owner took a liking to Buddy!

 I could take photos all day of Wilson and his ball.  These are only a few of the dozen or more taken:)

 This little brown dog was new to the Dog Park and not quite sure how to play ...

 ...but in no time, the owners stepped in and did a little correction and this little dog went over to make amends with both Ike and then Opal.

...and then went to check Lola out.  

 Bonus ~ After leaving the Dog Park, it is always nice to go for a walk in the woods!

 As a reminder, the Dog Park can be intimidating for a new dog.  A little reassurance can go a long ways!
